About the Role:

Join AstraZeneca’s Data Analytics & AI team within Operations IT as a Business Analyst Intern, where you’ll help drive operational excellence by leveraging data insights and AI solutions. You’ll work on real-world projects, analyze performance metrics, and explore innovative solutions to optimize processes and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze operational performance metrics (e.g., KPIs, benchmarks) to identify trends and improvement areas.

  • Support financial analysis, including Profit & Loss (P&L) assessments, to drive cost-effective decisions.

  • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports for actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements for DA&AI initiatives.

  • Explore AI applications for process optimization and forecasting.

Requirements:

  • Passion for Data Analytics and AI with an understanding of their operational applications.

  • Knowledge of operational metrics, KPIs, and financial concepts (e.g., P&L, budgeting).

  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau; familiarity with Python, R, or SQL is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.

Education:

Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
