US Medical Affairs Summer Intern - Immunotherapy or Tumor Agnostic, Undergraduate

We are seeking undergraduate sophomores and juniors majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Pharmacy, Pharmacy, Business, Mathematics, Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related field to join a department with 2 openings in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:

Tumor Agnostic:

  • Work with the cross-functional medical team to execute and develop the tumor agnostic strategy aligned to organizational goals.

  • Perform internal and external medical content review and engage in discussions with cross-functional colleagues (global, commercial, therapeutic areas; internal and external) to identify new tactics to incorporate within the medical plan.

  • Synthesize outputs from tactical execution (program metrics, insights, others) to refine the tumor agnostic strategy.

Immunotherapy:

  • Support IO medical team in pre-launch activities such as patient journey mapping, development of unmet need messages, disease state landscaping and HCP mappings.

  • Collate and present insights gathered from multiple platforms (such as social media and congress interaction etc.) post-primary data presentation.

  • Facilitate weekly medical launch meetings/calls to include Call preparation (including materials), insight review, and sentiment analysis.

Position Requirements:

  • Undergraduate sophomores and juniors majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Pharmacy, Pharmacy, Business, Mathematics, Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related field. **Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.

  • Knowledge & understanding of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Wet lab and data analysis experience are required for the Tumor Agnostic team.

  • Science presentation and writing skills are preferred.

  • Public speaking skills are preferred.

  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.

  • US Work Authorization is required at time of application.

  • This role will not be providing OPT support.

  • Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 3-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.

  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0
