Business Operations Intern, US Medical Affairs Oncology

We are seeking sophomores and junior students majoring in finance, business administration, business analytics, or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role to be working on a team with 2 openings in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:

This posting has 2 headcount on the below team:

Finance and Business Planning Team:

  • Collaborate with the Program Management team in designing a process to build a centralized data source that incorporates all the Franchise/Indication level High-Level Operating Plan templates.

  • Develop process rules around updating the data source as forecasting figures can change throughout the planning cycle.

  • Create a Power BI Dashboard to build the necessary visualizations required for the planning presentation decks.

  • Dashboard should be a one-stop destination where each team is able to obtain the visualizations required for each Franchise Deck.

  • Develop training materials to educate the teams on how to use the tool to efficiently populate the Franchise Decks.

Project Management Team:

  • Analyze current business processes with Alliance financial management

  • Assess opportunities for greater efficiencies across alliance financial tracking

  • Create Power BI dashboard to bring data visualization

Position Requirements:

  • Sophomores and junior students majoring in finance, business administration, business analytics, or a related field.

  • Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.

  • Software exposure to Tableau, Excel, and PowerBI are strongly preferred.

  • Project Management experience preferred

  • Finance & Budget management experience preferred

  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.

  • US Work Authorization is required at time of application.

  • This role will not be providing OPT support.

  • Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 3-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.

  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0
