Medical Affairs Analytics Intern, Oncology - Undergraduate
We are seeking freshman, sophomore, and junior students majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, Biology, or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role with 2 openings in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
Use real-world data to solve business challenges for medical affairs and R&D clinical trial teams
Apply predictive modeling to the data to generate actionable business insights
Summarize results in a meaningful way in the poster session
Ensure work is adequately transferred and documented via knowledge transfer
Position Requirements:
Undergraduate Freshman, sophomore, and junior students majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, Biology, or a related field
Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
Demonstrated Databricks experience is required.
Python, R, SQL, and AWS are preferred.
PowerBI and Tableua are plus, but not required.
Project management experience is a plus.
Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
This role will not be accept OPT.
Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 3-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
Minimum grade point average of 3.0
