This apprenticeship programme will not be available for 2024
About the programme
Our biologics site at Speke, Liverpool is a unique place bringing together research scientists, manufacturing associates, engineers, quality professionals and support personnel.
In Technical Services, we support the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Process Development and Quality departments in many ways. Our main focus is on supporting key manufacturing process projects that are critical to improving performance.
As a Technical Apprentice, you’ll focus on projects such as process simplification and waste reduction.
How does the programme work?
On this 4-year apprenticeship you’ll get plant-based learning with practical, on-the-job training. Working alongside industry professionals you’ll gain invaluable, in-depth experience.
You’ll be studying for a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician (HNC). We’ll fund your course, and 20% of your time will be spent on your studies. Your learning will be a blend of online and face-to-face sessions.
How we will support you
We’re huge advocates of early careers, and we all want you to succeed. Bring us the passion and energy and we’ll support you all the way, encouraging you to fulfil all your potential.
You’ll get excellent development opportunities and play a crucial role in your team. We’ll also help and encourage you to network and socialise with your peers so you can see the impact of your creativity and ideas.
From day 1, your line manager, a mentor and a buddy from the business will be there to support you. As an existing or ex-apprentice your buddy will really help you to immerse yourself in the company, your new role and our early talent network.
You’ll also select your own benefits package with our flexible benefits programme. From lifestyle benefits to comprehensive health, pension, insurance and financial plans, you choose the right package for you. And if you change your mind the following year, you can adapt it.
