About the programme
This apprenticeship is developing the engineers of the future, creating ground-breaking medical devices and combination products to deliver medications to a wide range of patients.
You’ll be working within our device commercialisation and on-market technical area on a broad portfolio of products including pre-filled syringes, autoinjectors and inhalation devices.
And you’ll learn on the job from our product design and development engineers, using techniques like mechanical design, fluid dynamics, and more, to bring new products to patients and improve the design of existing products.
How does the programme work?
On this 4-year apprenticeship, you’ll have a unique opportunity to learn and work in a global company alongside science’s brightest minds and our industry’s boldest disruptors.
You’ll be studying for a Level 6 - Product Design and Development (BEng) Manufacturing Technology degree. We’ll fund your degree, and 20% of your time will be spent on your studies.
There are plenty of opportunities for future growth and experience beyond your degree. Many of our apprentices go on to enjoy full time positions both in their apprenticeship department and other business areas.
