SAP FICO Senior Functional Consultant
SAP FICO Senior Functional Consultant for a world leading Pharmaceutical company which operates in over 100 countries and is head quartered in the United Kingdom. The candidate is expected to collaborate with a team of functional consultants for a large SAP support and maintenance project, spanning several SAP landscapes across continents. The candidate should possess broad functional knowledge in his/her domain and in-depth technical knowledge in Finance SAP module and its integration points.
- As SAP FICO Senior Functional Consultant, will be responsible for providing functional leadership on SAP finance processes, designing and reviewing solutions and proposing improvements.
- Responsible for finishing the tasks assigned by team lead and project manager.
- Responsible to solve complex SAP issues reported by the business users (Incident Management) and acting as a mentor for junior team members.
- Responsible for proactively working with business users for identifying and resolving recurring issues.
- Owner of certain specialized processes within broader domain area eg. Interfacing to 3rd party systems, etc.
- Ability to drive conversations with business users to understand requirements, prepare high level solutions and estimations.
- Ability to speak Fluent English
Essential Requirements:
- At least 10 years of demonstrable experience as functional consultant in respective work stream and experienced knowledge in configuration and maintenance of SAP systems on Financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Treasury, Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing and Special Ledger)
- Bachelor’s degree from college/university required.
- Ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare and review functional specifications and high level design documents.
- Very good understanding of integration between other modules (SD, MM, PP)
- Ability to work in large and diverse teams.
- Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool.
- Experience of various Estimation Techniques needed
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well versed in English and Spanish. Excellent spoken and written skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Proactive approach to problem solving.
- Experience working in a globally distributed team
- Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain.
- Ability drive conversations with business users to understand requirements, prepare high level solutions and estimations.
- Candidate must be able to translate requirements then into high level solutions into a detailed functional specifications.
- Exposure is essential to highly customized SAP environments and working on collaborate with Non SAP systems.
- Very good understanding of integration of SAP modules in End to end business processes
- Understanding of ITIL processes and Application life cycle management.
- Ability to work in large and complementary teams.
- Exposure to Run SAP (Solution Manager) methodologies.
- Exposure to Run SAP (Solution Manager) methodologies.
- Exposure is essential to highly customized SAP environments and working on interfaces with Non SAP systems.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and Application life cycle management.
- Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a validated environment.
- Experience implementing / supporting FI & CO-PA (Profitability Segment) module in SAP.
- Experience supporting FI localizations (Mexico, Brazil, etc)
