Role description

Supports development and delivery of communications materials to time and budget. Ensures all regular communications materials are kept updated and deadlines and actions are met.

Typical accountabilities

· Supports the Communications Director by developing and building communications tools under direction, including: generic and project specific decks, speaker kits, toolkits, infographics, internal videos, newsletters and social media posts

· Writes, clear, simple, direct communications narratives, using plain English

· Plans and co-ordinates communications sequencing across a range of stakeholder groups

· Updates and maintains contact directories to manage target audiences globally

· Interprets data into simple visuals

· Produces material in line with AZ branding which meets quality standards

· Provides technical support to team meetings, by running slides/videos, MS Teams guest management

Desirable

· Excellent English written and speaking skills

· High school qualification

· Prior writing/communications experience

· Ability to follow and deliver timetables

· Interest in social media/design skills

· Able to self-educate in new skills

· Competence in the use of relevant office equipment and

systems

· Experience of a variety of software/systems including

Excel, Teams and Office

· Strong attention to detail

· Customer Service Skills
