We are looking for a strong communicator for the position of
Key Account Manager - CVRM, Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolic Disease
Your Responsibilities
Representing AstraZeneca standards and values in external interactions
Proactively identifying business opportunities and evaluating possibilities for implementing the managed AZ portfolio
Developing strategies and creating concepts for business development, aligned with account objectives and needs. The strategies include: goal setting, milestones, and action plans
Creating account plans as well as measuring and tracking success, strictly adhering to all internal and external regulations and codes
Identifying, building, and, if needed, further developing network structures (physician network, patient network, diagnostics, etc.)
Establishing strategic partnerships while considering individual customer needs
Managing customers in both hospital and office-based settings
Professionally conducting patient- and customer-benefit-oriented discussions at a high scientific level
If required: delivering specialist presentations, both internally and/or externally for AZ
Cross-functional coordination and close collaboration with FLSM, other field staff colleagues, the brand team, and patient safety
Proactively sharing market insights and information within AZ to optimize marketing, sales, and medical activities
Mentoring
Preparing monthly reports (competitive analyses, competitive intelligence, etc.)
Segmentation & targeting
Budget planning and responsibility
Requirements
At least 4 years proven work experience in a similar role in a multinational matrix company and previous industry sector
Good command in English and German (written and spoken)
Certified sales representative according to §72 AMG
Authorization according to §72 AMG, a university degree from the fields of human medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or pharmacy in Austria
Very good knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and the Austrian healthcare system
In-depth knowledge of the hospital market
Excellent product knowledge and expertise in the therapeutic area
Strategic planning
Commercial awareness
Analytical business and audit reporting skills
Excellent project management skills
Great sales and negotiation skills
Previous working knowledge of CRM Systems
