About Global Operations at AstraZeneca

You’ll be working on cutting-edge supply chain solutions, embracing innovative technologies and processes that reduce environmental impact and make healthcare more accessible. 

About the Programme  

The Operations Global Graduate Programme spans 2 years and consists of three individual eight-month rotations, each offering valuable insights into our business and production sites. You’ll engage in a technically focused rotation, a placement at one of our manufacturing facilities, and a global placement which will give you the opportunity to gain international experience. Our placements are designed to give you hands-on experience across different functions within Global Operations and build a strong foundation for rapid learning and growth.  

Programme Details  

  • Start Date: September 2025  
  • Duration: 2 years  
  • Structure: Three individual eight-month placements  
  • Focus Areas: Quality Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Planning 
  • Permanent employment: You’ll receive a permanent employee contract with AstraZeneca from day one.

Post-Programme Opportunities 

Our programme aims to place you in a role within our production sites or global supporting functions that matches your strengths and career goals, in alignment with business needs. Through mentorship and coaching, you'll be well-prepared to take on greater responsibilities and complex challenges.  

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree awarded in 2024 or 2025 in engineering,  manufacturing technology, biological/physical sciences, or a related field. 
  • Available to start full-time work from September 2025 (alternative start dates are not offered). 
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written). 
  • Global and regional flexibility to rotate through our business at the locations that offer you the best developmental experiences. 

Key Dates:   

  • Advert opens: 2024-12-09  
  • Advert closes: 2025-02-03  
  • Virtual assessment centre: 2025-03-07

What’s next?  

Applicants are required to complete a multiple-choice online assessment, which will be sent within 2 weeks of applying. You will have 5 days to complete it. Successful candidates will advance to our assessment centre, which consists of a series of virtual panel interviews. Please note that our assessment centres are approximately 6 hours long (with breaks), and full attendance is required.
