What you´ll do

We are looking for a Digital Developer capable of building, supporting and continuously improving robust, accurate, and reliable software solutions that will be used across units at Sweden Operations.You will be involvedworking on the most exciting and toughestAI and Digital problems in the pharmaceutical industry.

You will work with deeply technical AI Engineers,Data Scientists,Scientists & other software Developers. You will have the chance to contribute to the design and developmentof tools that will transform how AstraZeneca operates at scale, ultimately making us more efficient in our goal to improve the lives of millions of patients across the globe.

As a DigitalDeveloperyou will work closely with engineers & product teams and will contribute to the delivery of solutions at scale within the AstraZeneca tech stack, whilst advocating and encouraging best practices for software and full stack development across the company. As a strong Engineer and Developer of complex systems, you will be contributing to inventing how we use Digital Products at scale to enable the productivity of AstraZeneca.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Contribute to developmentof end-to-end solutions for the business

  • Create web front ends for a range of data science and operations research projects

  • Visualise complex datasets and model outputs using the latest front-end technologies (preferably React JS)

  • Work together with the business,OpsIT and other functions, focused on product delivery and support

  • Liaise with other engineers to enhance our technological stack, to enable the adoption of the latest advances in software engineeringand development

Essential for the role

  • 3+ years of experience and demonstrable technical skills in full stack software development

  • Knowledge of modern front-end framework (preferably React JS)

  • Experienced and hands-on programmer, ideally including Python

  • 3+ years of experience in developing and scalinginteractive AI/Software tools

  • Proven knowledge of or experiencein software development topics like CI/CD, testing, version control

  • Creative, collaborative, & product focused

  • Hard-working, curious, innovative, deeply technical and learn continuously

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise and at least 3 years industry experience in developing and supporting tailored Digital Products and/or AI systems end-to-end.

Desirable for the role

  • Experience with and good working knowledge of C#

  • A track record ofunderstanding and translating business problems into engineering problems.

  • Experiencein DevOps/ MLOps

  • Industrial experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Degree in relevant experience for the role
