Accountabilities:

  • Independently plan and execute in vitro and in vivo development studies to support preclinical data packages for IND-enabling submissions.

  • Contribute to the evaluation of lentiviral vectors and in vivo engineered cell therapies, including biodistribution, cell transduction efficiency, and persistence.

  • Support the assessment of safety and efficacy of engineered immune cells in vitro and in mouse models of immune disorders.

  • Coordinate experimental workflows with internal cross-functional team members ensuring timely and accurate data generation.

  • Analyze, interpret, and present experimental data in internal meetings and record data in lab notebooks and as part of internal reports.

  • Maintainhigh standards of experimental quality and reproducibility, including appropriate use of controls, troubleshooting, and documentation.

  • Contribute to the execution of program timelines in alignment with corporate milestones and strategic objectives.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • MSc or PhD degree in Immunology or molecular and/or Cell Biology or related fields with at least 3 years (for MSc) of laboratory experience

  • In-depth experience and independent execution of techniques including multiple parameter flow cytometry, western blotting, ELISA, and qPCR is a must

  • Extensive experience with mammalian cell culture (is a must)

  • Good scientific/technical writing and communication skills in English is required

  • Excellent organization and good data analysis skills are a must

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting objectives

  • Autonomous, must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible, and have a “do-what-it-takes” attitude

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Good communication skills both written and oral in English is preferred.

  • Viral vector production and characterization (preferred)

  • Hands-on experience with engineering cell therapies and characterization is preferred
