Reporting into the Head, Analytics and Data Excellence, you will be an influential leader in shaping how the organization sets strategy, enhances executional excellence, and assesses business performance. You will work across all Biopharmaceutical Business Unit (BBU) therapeutic areas to accelerate insights driven decision making through market research, analytics & reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Key strategic advisor to senior leadership across the Biopharmaceutical Business Unit, identifying key risks & opportunities to drive performance through data-driven decision making.
  • Lead, Manage & develop a high performing team of Brand aligned Insights Managers, Analytics Managers and Business Performance Managers to accelerate insight driven decision making across Respiratory & Immunology, Vaccines & Immune Therapies and CVRM therapeutic areas (TA)
  • Responsible for all people processes, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, individual development and talent management
  • Accountable for brand insights processes (Primary Market Research, ATU, Patient Journey, competitive Insights & Environmental scans) to inform brand and therapeutic area strategy and performance evaluation
  • Accountable for core field analytical processes (quota setting, segmentation & targeting, team sizing, structure and alignment) to establish goals and allocate resources aligned to brand strategy
  • Accountable for business planning, investment prioritization and executional excellence evaluation
  • Partner with TA leadership teams to establish annual priorities and establish reporting needs to assess business performance and shape strategic direction for each brand
  • Partner with Data Capabilities & IT teams to deliver prioritized reporting in support of strategic priorities
  • Parter with Oncology Business Unit Insights & Analytics team to ensure alignment of key business processes and capability development.
  • Partner across Patient and Innovation teams to deliver cross-domain insights to inform organizational strategy
  • Active member of the data governance team, ensuring all data processes and systems are aligned to data collection and reporting standards

Qualifications

  • Experience designing and managing Primary Market research
  • Strong analytical mind-set and proven ability to generate insights
  • Strong strategic thinking/planning skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with large market data (e.g. IQVIA, Neilson etc)
  • Understanding of structured and unstructured data
  • Successful history of collaboration and partnership
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA an asset
  • 5-7 years, experience (pharmaceutical experience preferred)
  • 2+ years, people management experience
