Introduction:

As Senior Manager Corporate Brand & Creative, you will collaborate across the AstraZeneca and Alexion Corporate Communications teams and the Global Corporate Affairs (GCA) network to manage corporate brand and creative output. Your role will support a differentiated and trusted corporate brand and reputation. You will work independently and under the direction of the Director, Corporate Brand & Creative to manage a variety of important corporate brand programs.

Accountabilities:

  • Work independently and under direction to project manage and coordinate the delivery of key corporate brand assets and activities.
  • Partner with global, regional, and market teams to support the delivery of high-quality, creative content and ensure brand adherence.
  • Manage corporate brand platforms and tools, delivering new digital technologies to improve brand efficiency, effectiveness, and quality in collaboration with IT.
  • Manage and maintain brand assets and guidelines, creating templates and other assets.
  • Ensure all corporate communications share a unified look and feel that reflect the company’s business priorities, strategy, and brand.
  • Manage contract resources to support effective execution of communication activities as required. Oversee quality and compliance of work.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ brand and design experience working in a fast-paced global in-house or agency team.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the end-to-end brand or creative processes, from taking a brief through to content delivery.
  • High level of technological competence and skills able to manage online content management platforms with strong knowledge of technology options.
  • Experience in working with international teams or on projects with international dimensions.
  • Significant experience of managing different stakeholder relationships and confident at managing up.
  • Skilled at using social media and digital content creation.
  • Experience in measurement and how to use data and research to drive brand and communications efforts.
  • Exceptional project management skills and good interpersonal skills with ability to manage external resources/agency partners.
  • Strong visual judgment, attention to detail, and design oversight skills.
  • Team worker with high level of personal accountability.
  • Able to develop and maintain networks across business and cultural boundaries.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work independently and flexibly, think ahead, engage proactively, and take initiative.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable operating in a matrixed environment.

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Experience of working in pharma/other highly regulated sector is desirable.
