The ideal candidate combines deep project management expertise with a strong understanding of digital health ecosystems, emerging technologies, and user-centered design. The role requires someone who is willing to take on challenges, unblock issues and lead high-impact initiatives that drive innovation, enhance customer experience, and enable business transformation within clinical trials.
Accountabilities:
- Oversee multiple digital health implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Proactively remove blockers and support cross-functional teams to maintain momentum across project lifecycles.
- Act as the main point of contact for senior partners (internal and external), building strong, trust-based relationships and ensuring alignment on goals, risks, and progress.
- Own reporting and risk tracking for your project portfolio, providing clear, accurate, and timely updates to internal leadership and customers.
- Be the face of delivery—willing to pick up the phone, deliver tough messages with empathy, and win customer confidence through credibility, clarity, and consistency.
- Build trusted relationships with senior internal and external partners. Navigate complexity with diplomacy, managing competing priorities and expectations.
- Champion hands-on delivery—ready to dive into the details when needed to ensure forward movement and issue resolution.
- Set up mechanisms to continuously capture team feedback, identify delivery difficulties, and evolve how we deliver based on real-world learning.
- Coach delivery team members on standard methodologies, delivery hygiene, and ownership. Encourage a culture of “find the answer, share the answer”—where lessons learned become reusable knowledge for others.
- Operate within the bounds of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11), with a strong understanding of Clinical Operations and eCOA (electronic Clinical Outcome Assessments).
- Constructively challenge project scope to protect delivery timelines and quality. Maintain a commercial lens, ensuring customer needs are met while safeguarding business interests.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree, PMP certification, and/or project management solution experience preferred.
- 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 4 years in digital or technology project leadership roles.
- Proven understanding of clinical trial operations, with relevant experience in R&D industry, specifically in clinical trials, with a focus on technology or software configuration
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Solution-oriented approach with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent service.
- You are highly organized, solution-oriented, and tech-savvy. You have experience in managing projects for enterprise customers and a foundational understanding of clinical operations. You thrive in customer-facing roles and are passionate about improving healthcare through technology. You want to expand your career in the digital health space, with the potential to move into project management or product configuration.
- You coach teams on delivery standard processes and foster a culture of accountability. You encourage others to solve problems independently, share what they’ve learned, and avoid reinventing the wheel. You give clear, honest feedback and focus on helping teams continuously improve how they deliver.

Why Evinova?
Evinova is a global health tech business, separate company part of the AstraZeneca group. Together, we can accelerate the delivery of life-changing medicines, improve the design and delivery of clinical trials for better patient experiences and outcomes, and think more holistically about patient care before, during, and after treatment. We know that regulators, healthcare professionals, and care teams at clinical trial sites do not want a fragmented approach. They do not want a future where every pharmaceutical company provides its own, different digital solutions. They want solutions that work across the sector, simplify their workload, and benefit patients broadly. By bringing our solutions to the wider life sciences community, we can help build more unified approaches to how we all develop and deploy digital technologies, better serving our teams, physicians, and ultimately patients. Evinova represents a unique opportunity to deliver meaningful outcomes with digital and AI to serve the wider healthcare community and create new standards for the sector. Join us on our journey of building a new kind of health tech business to reset expectations of what a bio-pharmaceutical company can be. This means we’re opening new ways to work, pioneering cutting-edge methods, and bringing unexpected teams together. Interested? Come and join our journey.
