Location: Mississauga, Canada
Reporting To: Head of Innovation & Business Planning
Travel Required: Limited travel to HQ Gaithersburg, approximately once per quarter (4 times annually)

The Director of Business Planning & Delivery will provide leadership and operational oversight across Business Planning Operations, Portfolio Management, and Project Management for the US Commercial Oncology Business Unit (US OBU). This role is pivotal in fostering innovation, simplification, and continuous improvement within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide planning processes and deliver the US OBU Scorecard, including annual goal setting and quarterly updates.
- Develop and implement automated solutions to simplify and prioritize business operations.
- Facilitate the operating model across key US OBU forums (OLT, MLF, OFLF, BPL, MALT).
- Oversee the management of the portfolio and governance of scorecard-driven projects to enhance transparency, prioritization, and decision-making.
- Provide project and change management support, onboarding, and frameworks in collaboration with Global Business Services.
- Partner with stakeholders from Sales & Marketing, Oncology Business Excellence, Finance, Oncology Care & Access, Medical Affairs, and external partners to deliver on strategic business priorities.
- Manage the budget planning and activities for the team and function.
- Act as a change agent, leading continuous improvement, innovation, and engagement throughout the organization, and serving as the US OBU liaison to site leadership in Mississauga.
- Develop and manage a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment, focusing on team roles, personal development, and engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 7 years of industry experience in Portfolio Management and Business Planning.
- Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical and/or healthcare sector handling projects of varying complexity.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver high-quality results across multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record in execution, bringing strategy and analysis to a tactical level.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams, both with and without formal authority.
Desirable:
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Oncology business acumen.
- Experience in the US pharmaceutical sector.
