Operational Business Excellence Senior Analyst

This role is key to help transform the company towards a holistic view of the needs of the healthcare system and patients, including performing an in-depth understanding of the impact of data-driven decision-making; thus being able to prioritize business actions aimed at improving performance, activity, dynamism and competitiveness indicators, among others.
This role will be responsible for laying the foundations for the generation of insights that help transform AZ’s business model, facilitating its implementation and monitoring through different systems and processes. All this, in order to contribute to the achievement of company objectives.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Performance & Alignment
Drives a “customer in” mindset by consistently gather, analyze and leverage customer data to feed business decision making.
Collaborates with Customer Engagement, Tech & Data & Execution Team to produce relevant insights through data and to answer to the business key questions.
Advises and provides strategic support to e-reps and HIPs to ensure business excellence. Provides conclusions and recommendations to diagnose the situation and evolution of the business, converting information into actionable strategic insights and automated tools to advise the e-reps.
Is the point of contact with the Tech & Data Dept., ensuring optimal coordination between the business needs identified by the BP and the tools and data architecture provided by Tech & Data.
Reviews and improves cross-functional compensation plans to ensure alignment with the company’s strategy.
Delivers the power of data for best-in-class decision making at business level.
Ensures monitoring of performance and outcomes to secure impact and timeliness.
2. Business Excellence Support & Guidance
Prepares Upload File for Call Plan Tool, creates cycles and loads call plan files (verifying AZAP call plan upload on Veeva), and manages Business & technical incidents.
Supports the achievement of AZ business goals by implementing a competitive and fair incentives scheme aligned with key priorities. Manages the Incentives process: Calculates Cycle Incentives, presents results of the calculation to the Incentives Committee, prepares Incentive partial settlements and is responsible for the forecast and Audit.
Manages the Objectives process: establishes National objectives, prepares presentation of National objectives and discusses with the Incentives Committee, agrees the criteria to be applied for the initial distribution, prepares the Load Files for Cast Tool / Cast Files, is in charge of the troubleshooting of the delivery tool, and consolidates and uploads files in system.
Owns the Sizing of Commercial structures process: plans the optimization of commercial structures & new business lines, manages the structure file upload in AZAP, validates the upload of structure files and the upload of files due to changes of structure.
Configures profiling in Veeva to collect the information, tracks the completion of profiling for GZ FVMs, discusses business rules to apply to determine segments and analyzes results of segmentation and targeting.
Leads the process that ensures the correct data loading of the information of the BUs in Veeva
Pulls in expertise and cross-functional resources to support Business Excellence Business Partners.
Ensure continuous improvement of data analysis in line with AZ standards, confirming that system uploads are performed optimally.
Identifies and gain a thorough understanding of key processes and tools challenges and propose solutions to optimize data analysis.

Guarantees that all activities related to the job comply with applicable external and internal regulations (policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and code of conduct).
3. PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Essential
Bachelor's degree in science and/or business and Masters on a related field.
Proven decision-making autonomy and accountability.
More than 5 years of strategic and analytical experience in Consulting / Business Intelligence / Insights, or in relevant analytical roles.
Demonstrated operational skills and performance delivery, ideally in leading technical projects related to data and systems.
Digital Mindset. Use of analytical visualization platforms (PowerBI, MicroStrategy or similar).
Proficiency in Spanish and English: B2/C1 or similar.
Ability to handle large volumes of data, relate information from different sources and draw relevant insights from data analysis.
Strong business acumen and high capacity to develop relevant insights.
Previous experience in establishing and managing strategic partners.
Negotiation / Influencing skills.
Desirable
Proven experience in setting up strategic projects and working models in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven working experience and proficiency in strategy assessment and planning of digital transformation, innovation strategy and business strategy.
Strong capability in developing governance and monitoring systems, working in high complexity environments with multiple stakeholders
