As the Director of IT Portfolio & Value Realisation, you will spearhead the design, governance, and stewardship of CORE Function IT portfolios. Your leadership will ensure that every investment aligns with strategic goals and delivers sustained competitive advantage. Accountabilities:
- Lead the definition, governance, and strategic alignment of CORE Function IT portfolios to functional and IT2030 strategy, improving investments and growing measurable value.
- Drive dynamic portfolio planning—balancing priorities, capacity, and market responsiveness for optimal business outcomes.
- Develop and embed value realisation frameworks, ensuring all initiatives deliver tangible return on investment and business benefits.
- Track and report value delivery throughout the program lifecycle, with robust post-implementation reviews and benefits ownership.
- Oversee the Business Analyst function—ensuring effective governance, deployment, and capacity building to accelerate value definition and solution clarity.
- Foster a centre of excellence for business analysis by promoting standards, knowledge sharing, and equipping teams with emerging tech capabilities.
- Partner with Finance, Strategy, and Operations for investment governance, prioritisation, funding cycles, and portfolio trade-offs aimed at maximising enterprise value.
- Lead governance forums and steering committees, building a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Establish metrics, dashboards, and scorecards for real-time portfolio insights and performance intelligence.
- Apply advanced analytics and scenario planning to inform decision-making and proactive risk mitigation.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance, Strategic Management, IT, or related field; relevant portfolio/program management certification (e.g. MoP, MSP, PMP, PRINCE2, LPM, CBAP) strongly preferred.
- More than 12 years of experience in managing enterprise portfolios, leading program deliveries, or overseeing transformation leadership.
- Proven success managing complex, cross-functional portfolio ecosystems in large or matrixed organisations.
- Track record of delivering enterprise-wide value realisation—cost savings, efficiency, revenue enablement.
- Hands-on experience leading and scaling Business Analyst teams or Centres of Excellence.
- Deep expertise in portfolio lifecycle management, resource alignment, prioritisation, and benefit tracking.
- Skilled at integrating value frameworks (ROI, NPV, TCO, KPIs) from business case through post-implementation.
- Strong financial acumen in capital planning, investment governance, and business case analysis.
- Advanced ability to develop dashboards, scorecards, and actionable data insights for executive decision support.
- Exceptional stakeholder and change leadership skills, with experience engaging across executive, finance, and operational teams.
- Highly adept at cross-functional collaboration and influencing at all levels.
