Medical Operations & Evidence Specialist
The Medical Operations & Evidence Specialist is responsible for managing the operational aspects of Medical Affairs programs and real-world data, including related contracts and agreements. This role will collaborate with the Medical Department and associated teams to ensure the successful execution of agreed-upon milestones, deadlines, and budgets.
Accountabilities:
Contract and Financial Management: Oversee the contract, payment, and eBA processes for projects within the Medical Department, including the preparation and management of CRO contracts for real-world studies and Expanded Access Programs (EAPs). Track signatures, initiate purchase orders (POs), and manage payments and invoices.
Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain KPIs dashboards and communicate insights effectively to the medical team.
Study Operations: Utilize AstraZeneca's best practices and collaborate with external service providers and partners to manage study operations. Facilitate documentation processes, ensure effective communication, and contribute to alliance management to drive project success.
Alliance Collaboration: Work closely with the Clinical Research Department and partners to enhance alliance management.
Donation Management: Co-lead medical device (in-kind) donation processes, prepare agreements, engage with internal stakeholders, oversee purchasing and eBA processes, and manage donation logistics.
Veeva CRM Management: Enter business meal and doctor group activities into Veeva CRM, obtain meeting codes, generate and disseminate reports, and coordinate efforts with the Commercial Effectiveness Department.
Data Accuracy and System Improvement: Collaborate with the Commercial Effectiveness Department to ensure data accuracy and suggest improvements for system efficiency.
Material Approval Codes Management: Track and manage approval codes for materials produced by the Medical Department.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- 4 years university degree (Preferably Life Sciences)
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar position
- Advanced level of written and spoken English
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, SAP, Veeva CRM, or similar systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and attention to details
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organization and follow-up skills
- Eager to work in a fast-paced environment
- Located in İstanbul
