We will also be introducing a new sustainable propellant and transitioning millions of patients who are currently on our inhalers. Working within our innovative Respiratory Global Portfolio and Product Strategy (GPPS) team and reporting to the Global Commercial Head, you will shape the future by spearheading this transition. The Global Associate Marketing Director will be pivotal in crafting a seamless transition strategy, ensuring that markets are primed, and patients, physicians, and pharmacists are well-informed.
The Global Associate Marketing Director will have a unique opportunity to lead the development of promotional brand strategy and materials to grow the brand as a market leader. Your pivotal role will ensure efforts that drive both short-term success and maximize long-term brand value.
What You'll Do:
Champion the implementation of global strategies in local markets to accelerate brand growth and enhance differentiation.
Formulate comprehensive global plans to transition inhalers to include the next generation propellant (NGP). Collaborate with global and regional teams to streamline regulatory filings, prepare markets, sequence manufacturing, and construct robust supply chain flows for smooth transitions worldwide.
Direct the development of strategies, tactics, and materials for healthcare providers (HCPs), patients, and pharmacists, partnering with agencies and coordinating feedback from external and internal stakeholders.
Integrate insights from business, medical, and payer teams into the global brand strategy. Identify potential risks, opportunities, and uncertainties, and develop proactive plans.
Support accurate forecasting and financial modeling throughout the annual and quarterly business planning cycles, ensuring alignment with Therapeutic Area strategy and broader Biopharmaceutical Business Unit goals.
Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and forecasting teams to assess manufacturing needs and ensure efficient product distribution to markets.
Collaborate effectively across a global matrix team, engaging with functional marketing and commercial specialists, regions, and key markets.
Lead internal engagement initiatives, such as Brand Forums, to ensure cross-functional alignment and strengthen confidence in strategy, product differentiation, and winning with the brand.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with an emphasis in science.
Experience in the healthcare or biopharma industry, with a strong preference for the respiratory therapeutic area.
5+ years of marketing experience, encompassing customer insight, positioning, value propositions, segmentation, and targeting.
Solid understanding of commercial strategy, methodologies, and tools, including product profiling, positioning, forecasting, pricing and reimbursement, market research techniques, and competitive intelligence resources.
Proven leadership in cross-functional project teams and matrix environments, with ability to influence and lead change initiatives. Familiarity with future healthcare market challenges and local regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated experience in effectively managing senior decision-making and governance bodies.
Strong leadership skills to foster dedication and constructively resolve conflicts.
Preferred Qualifications:
A second degree, such as an MBA or PhD.
This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus, headquarters for the Global BioPharmaceuticals, US Oncology and the Oncology Business Unit. The annual base pay for this position ranges from $180,875 - 271,312 USD. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
