Introduction to the role:

The Franchise Director for Insights & Analytics within our Breast Cancer Franchise is a pivotal position responsible for generating transformative insights that influence business strategies. This role will have direct oversight of market research, forecasting, and analytics for Small Molecule indications while leading a team to deliver comprehensive insights and strategic counsel to the Marketing & Sales team.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead market research, forecasting, and analytics to support the Breast Cancer franchise

  • Strategically partner with franchise leaders to develop brand strategies

  • Manage and optimize primary and secondary research initiatives to drive evidence-based marketing decisions

  • Present comprehensive insights and strategic recommendations to senior management

  • Develop and manage talent within the Insights & Analytics team

Essential skills/experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research)

  • 7+ years of experience at a pharmaceutical / biotechnology manufacturer or working in the biopharmaceutical industry (e.g., management consulting, market research, data/analytics, investment banking)

  • 6+years of primary market research and analytical experience applying varied primary research techniques and secondary information analysis 

  • Proven ability to influence laterally and vertically

Desired skills/experience:

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field or Advanced Marketing Degree (e.g., MBA)  

  • Pharmaceutical or consumer insight experience

  • Experience working in Oncology

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $181,503 to $272,255. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
