As the Senior Director of Service Delivery for the Americas, you will play a crucial role in optimizing content and omnichannel services, streamlining processes, and refining strategies with data-driven insights. Your leadership will support teams across the US, LATAM, and Canada, ensuring the delivery of impactful content and omnichannel campaigns.

Accountabilities

  • Ownership of GCS Content and Omnichannel service delivery for commercial organization across US, LATAM, and Canada teams.

  • Act as the global service owner of the content delivery service.

  • Collaborate on stakeholder management at a senior level in the assigned regions, in partnership with GBS Business Partners.

  • Collaborate in the definition, execution, and enhancement of the GCS Content and Omnichannel services strategy.

  • Lead the adoption of processes related to the Content and Omnichannel services.

  • Provide flexibility, accommodating variations across business units, brand lifecycle, and demand surges and drops.

  • Leverage reporting and utilization metrics to communicate overall adoption of GCS services. Find opportunities for improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing operation process.

  • Accountable for identifying and understanding market content and omnichannel trends to enable GCS to provide feedback to therapeutic area brands teams.

  • Accountable for a 60-member delivery team ensuring all vital Communications and Change Management activities are delivered across the market.

  • Demonstrates comprehensive understanding and application of all relevant policies, procedures, and operational frameworks. Ensures compliance with AZ Code of Conduct policies and procedures.

  • Drive collaboration, communication, and innovation between GCS towers and other Global functions.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 10-15 years of experience in content and omnichannel service delivery in a pharmaceutical environment

  • 10 years of people management experience with strong team building skills

  • Seasoned pharmaceutical/biotechnology director with significant leadership experience strategic digital marketing, and commercial leadership skills with a solid track record of accomplishment

  • Demonstrates strategic and tactical abilities in developing and successfully implementing a comprehensive commercial plan

  • Highly organized with a keen sense of what it takes to get the job done, strong operating and prioritization skills with collaboration and cross functional partnership

  • Oral and written fluency in Business English

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Experience in digital delivery and processes

  • Working effectively within a collaborative environment

  • MBA / advanced scientific degree

  • Experience working directly for a pharmaceutical company

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $229,303.20 - 343,954.80USD as an annual base salary. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
