As Director of Lung Cancer Strategy and Commercialization, you will play a crucial role in leveraging our scientific capabilities to positively impact patients' lives. This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus, the hub for US Oncology and the Oncology Business Unit. Accountabilities:
As the Director of Lung Strategy, you will define our commercial leadership in Lung Cancer by aligning strategic efforts across multiple assets to achieve our ambitious goals. You will integrate promotional priorities across stakeholders and segments, coordinate planning across brands, and drive above-brand initiatives. Collaborating with franchises and cross-functional teams, you will set tumor-level priorities and ensure coordinated US customer engagement. You will shape a strategic plan for lung cancer in the US, aligning strategy with execution to maximize patient identification. Your scope includes current and future assets as new data emerges. Reporting directly to the US Franchise Head – Lung Cancer, you will be a core member of the franchise leadership team.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years of marketing, strategy experience (US and/or global)
- Able to demonstrate agility to create, identify and quantify trends
- Exhibit high capability at working collaboratively, thinking strategically
- Comprehensive understanding of US market and roles of customer facing teams
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Advanced degree (e.g. MBA, MD)
- Experience in US marketing or strategy within Oncology
- Experience with launch of indication/molecule
- Experience in Lung Cancer

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $192,000 to $226,000. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
