The Lung Cancer Franchise seeks a highly skilled Global Associate Director,Marketing, Transforming Care & Lung Ambition to join their team.
Reporting to the VP Global Franchise Head, Lung Cancer this role involves leading key efforts in transforming lung cancer care and commercialization of QCS delivery. The position requires close collaboration with teams, including diagnostics and medical, with a goal to improve patient experiences and support precision diagnostics focusing on early detection and screening. You will engage with external oncology stakeholders and policy makers to drive progress in lung cancer care.
The Global Associate Director,Marketing will divide their time between our Lung Ambition program (40%) and QCS Delivery Commercialization (60%).
Key Responsibilities:
Lung Ambition
Lead efforts in lung cancer early detection and screening.
Work with BBU colleagues on One Lung Health and Global Policy.
Enhance guidelines concordant care and precision diagnostics.
Collaborate with diagnostics, clinical, medical, corporate affairs, and marketing teams.
Develop partnerships with external bodies such as government, healthcare systems, and technical partners.
QCS Delivery Commercialization
Co-lead QCS market implementation with Diagnostics co-lead.
Focus on five "A"s: Awareness, Adoption, Access, Availability, Accuracy.
Drive awareness and adoption by clinicians.
Support evidence-based recommendations.
Collaborate across diagnostics, medical, insights, and commercial teams. Work with local markets on access with market access, commercial, medical, and diagnostic team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
5+ years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry, with experience in brand marketing, sales, market research/analytics, or strategic planning.
Strong ability to manage complex projects and work within a matrixed environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead without authority and work collaboratively across functions and markets.
Proven track record of generating, analyzing and interpreting clinical trial and published data.
Thorough understanding of drug development and commercialization processes including an understanding of outcomes research /payer access issues
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
In-depth marketing experience, including developing brand strategy and managing ad agencies.
Experience working in brands with a pharmaceutical manufacturer, biomarker science and diagnostics.
In market experience in diagnostic market shaping and roll-out
This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus, headquarters for the US and Global Oncology Business Units. The annual base pay for this position ranges from $180,875.20 - 271,312.80 USD. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
