Medical Device Summer Intern

We are seeking undergraduate junior, master-level, or PhD-level student, working towards a degree in chemical engineering, material science, or related field, for a 12-Week Student Intern role in Durham, NC for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:

  • Participate in and contribute to the design of well-controlled studies using knowledge of inhalation sciences.

  • Independently author manufacturing and testing protocols using knowledge of manufacturing processes and analytical test methods.

  • Trend and analyze data with the use of statistical software.

  • Collaborate with team members and participate in meetings.

  • Present project findings at the end of the internship.

Position Requirements:

  • An undergraduate junior, master-level, or PhD-level student, working towards a degree in chemical engineering, material science, or related field. * Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
  • Competency with JMP preferred.
  • Strong technical writing skills required for documentation of laboratory experiments.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa.
  • Ability to report onsite to Durham, NC five days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0
