Introduction to role:
Are you ready to be a key doer in crafting the future of workplace data strategy? As a Senior Specialist in Workplace Strategy & Innovation (WSI), you'll perform business analysis and document data requirements, enabling small to medium-sized business change activities. You'll partner with the WSI IT Business Relationship Manager to deliver high-quality business data requirements and ensure solutions meet AstraZeneca's quality and compliance standards. Lead the charge on WSI data systems, reporting, and project activity tracking, while driving functional improvements and handling day-to-day operations.
Accountabilities:
In this dynamic role, you'll explore external Real Estate data usage, assess AstraZeneca's data needs, and find opportunities for strategic improvement. You'll plan and handle analytical work, engage collaborators, and contribute to change management. Define business requirements, evaluate solutions, and own WSI data systems and reporting. Collaborate with business collaborators, IT teams, finance, facilities, and site management to optimize processes and ensure accurate property lease records.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience of successfully deploying a variety of business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change
- Proven experience of working with complex coordinated systems, using creative and strategic thinking to deliver outstanding results
- Strong engagement, communication and stakeholder leadership skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills
- Experience of working in a regulated environment
- Experience and in-depth understanding of Corporate Real Estate data including Lease Abstraction and Administration
- Proven experience in data analytics including Python, and SQL Script
- Proven and demonstrable experience in creation of Power BI reports

Desirable Skills/Experience:
Formal certification in business analysis practice
- Experience of working in a global organisation with sophisticated/geographical context
- Cross industry business awareness/business domain knowledge
- Knowledge of FM typical working procedures/norms and data requirement’s
- Experience in completing data mapping and requirements with multiple collaborators with different needs and drivers
- User Centred Design (User Experience, User Interface Design and Business Process Design)
- Data mining and segmentation
