Data Analyst
Introduction to role:
Are you ready to make a significant impact on AstraZeneca's Workplace Strategy & Innovation (WSI) team? As a Workplace Data Partner, you'll be at the forefront of business analysis, detailing data requirements, and driving small to medium-sized business change activities. Your influence will craft both current and future WSI data strategies, unlocking new data acquisition opportunities and supporting global business change processes. With a focus on interactive communication, inclusion, and cultural sensitivity, you'll collaborate with the WSI IT Business Relationship Manager to deliver high-quality business data requirements and process designs that meet AstraZeneca's standards. Lead the charge in handling WSI data systems, reporting, and functional improvements to support property data acquisition and project activity tracking.
Accountabilities:
- Explore external Real Estate data usage and assess AstraZeneca's requirements to define business needs and impacts.
- Select appropriate analysis approaches based on complexity, risk, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.
- Identify collaborators across the business and form relationships tailored to their needs and influence levels.
- Manage requirements plans, including elicitation, approvals, processes, RAID, and scope impacts.
- Shape and define WSI data needs, validating available data at sites and identifying gaps.
- Evaluate solutions for site-based dashboards to handle Real Estate data.
- Own WSI data systems and processes, including global reporting and technology development.
- Prepare and approve leases within AZ CoStar lease accounting system, ensuring data quality validations.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience deploying business analysis tools/techniques for business change
- Experience with sophisticated coordinated systems using critical thinking
- Strong engagement, communication, and stakeholder leadership skills
- Experience in regulated environments
- Understanding of Corporate Real Estate data including Lease Abstraction and Administration
- Proficiency in data analytics including Python and SQL Script
- Experience in crafting Power BI reports
