Director Product Enablement - Evinova
Evinova enables global life sciences to accelerate better health outcomes, by creating digital health solutions for clinical research. We are a separate business within the AstraZeneca group.
Our highly configurable SaaS solutions are used by patients, research sites, sponsors, and CROs throughout the clinical study lifecycle. As our business scales, strategic investments not only in the product itself but also how we enable the deliveryof the product in a sustainable and efficient process and develop tools to ensure we drive efficiency, speed, quality, and an enhanced customer experience in the deployment of the product on a customer and study level.
In this role, you will lead a team of Product specialists together with subject matter authorities in study life cycle tooling to develop and handle a library of predefined study components that can be aggregated to rapidly set-up new studies and provide relevant documentation. The team will be responsible fordesign and development of tooling and automation of our processes across the delivery chain. In addition, the team will develop and maintain a library for eCOA and medical device uses cases that can readily be deployed to studies. The team will also have responsibility for interaction with external license holders, medical device providers or service providers to make sure our product catalogue is up to date and can be rapidly deployed.
You, and your team, will work closely with our Customer Delivery organization as well as the cross-functional Product Development team to lead how new functionality can best be introduced and added to the library and secure a smoot introduction to customers.
This is a highly strategic role where you will need to balance the "big picture" with a deep understanding of the technical and operational details. You will work with other part of the company to secure that the product fits in an efficient and customer focused end-to-end service to make participation in clinical trials as easy as possible while securing the integrity of all data collected. Fostering a learning organization and sharing knowledge will also be a critical part of the responsibilities.

Manage a team of Product Manager/owners to define the overall roadmap for the area and drive the strategic product discussions.
Craft a strategic product roadmap across your customer/product area by synthesizing customer feedback, competitive insights, business strategies/priorities, and user needs that can then be used to define individual product roadmaps.
Coach and develop Product Managers/Owners, technical SMEs and other roles to drive a product focused culture/capabilities and enhance our Product Development framework to deliver high quality products and services aligned with business needs.
Responsible for stimulating conceptual thinking and creativity and challenging the status quo for continuous improvement in our ways of working.
Develop and propose new cases in collaborate with SMEs to define and drive innovations in your product area and how these technologies can transform clinical study design and delivery.
Drive discussion across Evinova product portfolio to identify new opportunities to service our customers.
Collaborate with other product areas and contribute to the overall product strategy for Unified Trial Solution(UTS), AIDA and other related products.
Ensure quality and compliance to External Regulations and guidelines relevant to your product area.
Participate in external focus groups to drive and influence the external regulations or guidance to enable adaptation to digitally enhanced clinical trials.
Run defined internal and external partners to drive improvements and change.
Act as a change agent during the global roll-out of new technologies - embed new tools and technologies into the business and measure success.
Together with other specialists in Evinova keep an updated Competitive landscape for the product area and identify key areas of strength and opportunities for Evinova.
Support in assessments of value definitions of proposed sub-product areas, epics, etc
Contribute to Evinova Operational Excellence Strategy to define improvements areas for improved study set-up, delivery and closeout and how we can reduce site and sponsor burden across the study lifecycle.
Begin all aspects of Line Management including Resource planning, Recruit, Retain & Develop personnel and lead performance including feedback and rewards.
Member of the DPS Product LT and support driving an extraordinary product organisation
Essential Requirements:
Extensive Product Management skills, +5 years, in similar product areas
Deep understanding of the deployment and scaling of SaaS solutions to a clinical setting.
Deep knowledge of DPS components and their utilization in clinical trials.
Knowledge of GCP, 21 CFR part 11, relevant guidelines ISPOR, ISOQOL, FDA, EMA
Consistent record of teamwork in a cross functional setting with internal as well as external partners
Ability to challenge the status quo, lead through a vision, take ownership and hold self and others accountable.
Well-developed Senior Partner management skill with together with shown problem-solving, collaboration and interpersonal leadership skills
