Marketing Manager for Oncology Portfolios, Frontier Markets

Introduction to role:
Formulate marketing strategies, design impactful campaigns, and lead brand communication efforts. Collaborate with distributors to implement marketing activities that align with country objectives. Assess market and product potential for new launches, and spearhead pre-launch and post-launch activities. Your primary markets will include Cambodia, Myanmar, Brunei, Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the development of portfolio strategy, marketing plans, and central marketing activities for the entire Frontier Markets.
  • Assess market and brand potential for RA filing; develop patient-brand funnels to gauge potential in each market.
  • Oversee and track pre-launch and post-launch activities.
  • Customize brand communications and detailing aids; provide product training to distributors.
  • Develop business cases to support brand performance across Frontier Markets.
  • Manage communications from AstraZeneca to distributors.
  • Lead market research and market insight projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or health science / MBA in relevant field.
  • 6-8 years of pharmaceutical experience
  • Marketing and/or commercial experience, Experience in frontier / emerging markets is advantage.
  • Experience developing a strategy, Insight/Market Research and digital marketing.
  • Experience managing complex projects with the internal and the external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English and able to provide brand training in English.
  • Able to travel across Asia.
  • Able to work with the people in the different cultures.
  • Based in Bangkok, we offer relocation support for individuals residing outside of Thailand.
