Our story begins in 1993, when we first established our presence in China. Since then, we’ve gone from strength to strength and made significant investment, establishing a series of science, innovation and manufacturing centres – including a global R&D centre in Shanghai. Throughout the country, we employ over 14,000 of the most talented minds in medical research across five office locations and two manufacturing plants.
Providing the expertise and insight to develop medicines for some of the most serious disease areas and therapies, we lead in Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic (CVRM), Gastrointestinal, Respiratory, Neurological, Oncology, Inflammation, and Anaesthesia.
