Our Manufacturing Apprenticeships offer a unique full-time opportunity that combines training with hands-on, paid practical experience.  As an apprentice, you'll not only receive a competitive salary but also work towards achieving a nationally accredited vocational qualification that can be carried with you wherever your career takes you.

Throughout the programme, you’ll work alongside expert journeyworkers and mentors to gain in-depth experience and tackle real tasks. This means being part of our journey to provide life-changing medicine to patients all over the world.

Within our Operations business area, the Manufacturing function is responsible for producing our medicines, everything from receipt of materials, through processing, and packaging. Our supply chains span the globe and include state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities across each stage of production.

Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship – Coppell, Texas

During this two-year apprenticeship, commencing in November 2024, you will receive training in technical infrastructure maintenance, process validation, and improvement. As an Apprentice Maintenance Technician, you may carry out duties such as supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, performing cleaning and 5S activities in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and documenting maintenance work orders in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Manufacturing Operator Apprenticeship – Canóvanas, Puerto Rico 

Through this 18-month apprenticeship, you’ll receive training in dispensing, formulation, coating, bulk packaging, and inspection manufacturing stages. As a Manufacturing Operator, you may carry out duties such as operating, cleaning, and assembling/disassembling manufacturing equipment, managing raw materials and intermediates to manufacture our products, and completing documentation requirements prior to, during and after the manufacture of a product.
