Introduction to Role

Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and drive data transformation? As the Site Data & Analytics Lead – Axial, you will spearhead the Data Migration Team and associated activities. Reporting to the Site Delivery & Deployment Lead, your mission is to ensure seamless deployment of Axial analytics and AI, providing a single point of contact for analytics users, while managing data challenges with precision and ensuring data accuracy and quality.

Please note that this is a fixed-term temporary position or secondment, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a defined timeframe.

Accountabilities

Analytics Accountabilities:

  • Develop and deploy the local Analytics and AI strategy.
  • Coordinate analytics and AI discovery activities.
  • Deliver local design reviews for analytics and AI.
  • Coordinate input for analytics roadmap creation and testing resources.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for local analytics users and developers.
  • Communicate regularly with Axial I&A team and Business Technology Groups.
  • Contribute to site-level analytics and AI operating model.

Data Accountabilities:

  • Support the Site Delivery & Deployment Lead in delivering the Axial project.
  • Communicate regularly with the core data team.
  • Understand and communicate data migration life-cycle processes.
  • Coordinate data cleansing/purging and mapping activities.
  • Ensure extraction requirements are clearly communicated and executed.
  • Prepare and develop tools for data collection, verification, and ETL processes.
  • Test data migration with the core team and manage data freeze activities.
  • Synchronize static/dynamic/manual data load activities with the core team.
  • Ensure all data verification steps are completed and manage “day in life”/pre-prod data activities.

Deliverables:

Analytics Deliverables:

  • Develop and implement the Analytics and AI strategy for the site.
  • Create site-level stakeholder maps and analytics roadmap.
  • Contribute to change management, training, and communication plans.
  • Obtain analytics sign-off.

Data Deliverables:

  • Develop the Data Migration Strategy for the site.
  • Create data migration plans and reports for each trial/mock load.
  • Implement an approach for local ETL processes and maintain a migration tracker.
  • Ensure data mapping, verification sign-offs, and defect resolution.
  • Manage data freeze communications and remediation activities.
  • Coordinate cutover plan elements and post-live corrective activities.

Essential Skills/Experience

Analytics:

  • Solid background in data and analytics architecture.
  • Proficient in business analysis and requirements gathering.

Data:

  • Comprehensive understanding of site data management.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing teams and communicating effectively.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP/compliance and local business operations.
