The team engages with some of the most exciting business areas within AstraZeneca and is faced with solving for a variety of complex business and IT challenges.
About the role
As an S/4HANA Quality Management (SAP QM) Senior Consultant, you will be part of a wider SAP S/4HANA IT team that will lead on defining the IT and data solution that will support the global standardised business process. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is transforming our ability to develop life-changing medicines.
Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for supporting the integration between business process definition, SAP solution definition and SAP data objects definition. You will create the solution documentation that defines the global standard solution and ensures that it is fully and effectively tested in line with AZ testing standards.
Experience:
- SAP QM experience of 5 to 10 years and with good exposure on Batch Management
- SAP QM implementation / roll-out experience from design to completion of deployment
- Track record of delivering SAP configuration design
- SAP Certified in SAP S/4HANA Quality Management
- Experience of Pharmaceutical supply chain business activities and the required business outcomes within the relevant capability area
- Good knowledge on integration aspects and configuration dependencies with SAP – PP-PI, MM, SD, PM and EWM modules
- Good exposure to S/4 Fiori Apps
- Keeps self, up to date on latest S/4 technologies and functionalities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a Team
- Strong communication and presentation skills, a keen eye for detail
- Strong team player able to work across the teams and communicate in business and IT terms
- Comfortable with ambiguity and possessing an agile and open mindset
- Self-motivated, demonstrated personal credibility and positive energy
- Able to deliver large work efforts and meet challenging deadlines
- Able to think out of the box, thrive in ambiguous and stressful situations
Desirable:
- Worked in a hybrid environment with a mix of internal and external resources across geographical locations
- Knowledge on the planning integrated systems like SAP APO / OMP
- Awareness about SAP Activate, EML, Agile, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager, BPML & Testing Tools
- Knowledge of non-SAP technologies in the relevant line of business e.g., LMS like GLIMS / GQCLIMS / MODA-ES and QMS like GPQS
- Exposure to SAP EWM / SAP PM will be an added advantage
- Data Migration with S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
- Knowledge on BTP and Other new SAP cloud offerings.
- Knowledge in Interface Development (RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services).
Education
- Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate
