Role Overview:
Join us as we establish a new Patient Safety hub in Guadalajara! We're seeking an experienced leader to guide our team of 10 Intake Case Advisors, focusing on America´s region (including Brazilian market). This role involves overseeing the intake and processing of safety reports, ensuring compliance with pharmacovigilance regulations, and maintaining high standards in case management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the local case intake team
Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance regulations and AZ standards
Monitor and analyze team performance, implement improvements
Facilitate communication between local and global pharmacovigilance
Participate in audits, inspections, and collaborate on global safety projects
Accountabilities:
Stay informed on health authority regulations and update relevant partners
Support timely reporting and processing of safety cases
Oversee Health Authority interactions and field inquiries
Foster collaboration across departments to meet patient safety objectives
Ensure continuous training and development for the team
Essential Qualifications:
Fluent English and Portuguese
Degree or equivalent experience as QFB, Pharmacy, Medical, or Science
Extensive pharmacovigilance experience
Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities
