Introduction to role:
Join our dynamic team as an HR Advisor, where you will work within well-established guidelines and have access to higher-level support. You may be responsible for one or more administrative functions, such as company benefits administration, within a smaller geography. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in project research under the direction of more senior colleagues. While you won't be a Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the development of others, especially new starters. This role typically has a local rather than global remit.

Accountabilities:
- Support employees and managers throughout the Leave process.
- Update leave records and timesheets in Workday for both salaried, exempt and hourly, non-exempt employees.
- Act as a critical issue point for the My HR Advisory Team for complicated leave queries received from employees, managers, HR Partners, and Employee Relations Partners.
- Liaise with the leave and disability vendor to garner details on employee leave cases to bring resolution to complicated issues.
- Deep understanding of the federal FMLA, state and local leave mandates. Understand company leave of absence policies and ability to provide explanation to employees and managers so that they understand their rights and responsibilities.
- Conduct audits to confirm return to work details, leave exhaustion, disability-related employment actions, time entry, and process coordination of salary continuation payments related to Workers’ Compensation and various state paid family and medical leave programs.
- Partner with the payroll department and other HR COE teams to resolve sophisticated leave of absence queries.
- Respond to ad hoc requests for information from internal teams and external vendors.
- Other tasks as the need arises.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 2-4 years of Human Resources experience required.
- Ability to use and navigate web-based software programs and Microsoft Office products
- Workday and ServiceNow functional knowledge preferred
- Ability to communicate optimally both verbally and in writing.
- Detail orientation
- Customer orientation

Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Leave of absence proficiency will be a plus.
