Job Description

The Finance Analyst provides financial guidance to business departments to ensure that all business collaborators receive the financial information they need to handle business performance. This can include pricing analysis, cost calculations and project work.

Accountabilities

  • Provides financial guidance to business departments and ensures that all business collaborators receive the financial information they need to handle business performance.
  • Helps provide accurate financial analysis and mentorship to business projects and teams to present a sound financial basis for decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, governance, internal procedures, and processes.
  • Support the implementation of change initiatives to increase performance, reduce risk and improve governance.
  • Under the direction of senior managers, produce relevant data and analysis to support business recommendations.
  • Support day-to-day risk and contingency management and input into financial strategies and inter-company transactions across the entire global organization.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the use of financial systems to support business decision making (budgeting, forecasting and design).
  • Qualified, partially qualified, or in-training finance professional.
  • Experience working in the application of the specialist area.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Relative experience in a specialist area (e.g. tax, treasury, accounts payable)

Desirable

  • In the process of training to obtain professional qualification
