We are seeking the best talent to join our newly formed Axial Test Capability team, part of the Design and Delivery team. As a Deployment Test Manager, you will be accountable for all testing associated with a specific location for the Axial Global S4 Transformation Programme.

Accountabilities:

you will lead the delivery of testing services within the S/4 migration programmes to meet IT and Business needs. You will ensure the Test Strategy and good practices of AXIAL Testing capability are followed by each Test Lead for the Deployment.

You will also be responsible for developing the Local Test Approach for specific deployments, ensuring Test Plans for each test phase are produced and implemented following defined AXIAL test processes.

You will provide effective Programme and Deployment communications, build and sustain great relationships with key stakeholders, track test data and environment readiness for each test phase, and feedback on lessons learnt from the Deployment to the Test Capability to support continuous improvement.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • IT delivery experience, including experience of test managing large-scale programmes.

  • Experience in leading the testing of application implementations/migrations including different phases of testing (SIT, UAT).

  • Test Management experience in ERP delivery and/or transformations.

  • Good Context Driven Testing knowledge and experience.

  • Good knowledge and solid experience of SDLC methodologies.

  • Experience working with a range of testing techniques, tools, processes, and delivery methodologies.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills.

  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills

  • A proactive approach to problem solving with strong Lateral and Critical thinking skills.

  • Self-learner and serious about remaining up to date with testing industry advancements. Ability to grasp and understand new technology and concepts.

  • Experience working in globally distributed teams and shared resources

  • Experience with Testing Management and Defect Management Tools

  • Experience in the delivery of Test automation and knowledge of automation tools

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working across multiple (AstraZeneca) BTGs (Business/ Technology Group Areas)

  • Experience working with pharmaceutical software regulatory bodies

  • Experience in Test Management on a SAP Delivery and/or Transformation

  • Experience in implementing SAP Activate methodology and best practices

  • Experience in using JIRA and the JIRA x-Ray modules

  • Experience SAP Solution Manager tool

  • Experience in creating dashboards, and Reports in PowerBI and/or JIRA.
