Conferencing Product and Lifecycle Manager
Introduction to the Role
We are seeking aConferencing Product and Lifecycle Managerto play a pivotal role in driving the success of our conferencing hardware and software platforms. As the product owner, you will develop global standards and innovative ideas, focusing on transitioning our core conferencing and collaboration products from Cisco to Microsoft. You will create and maintain engagement models, define roles and accountabilities, and develop data models for future funding forecasts.
About the Enterprise Technology Services Team
TheEnterprise Technology Services (ETS)team is responsible for all Infrastructure, Security, IT Operations, and End User Services and technologies within AstraZeneca. ETS ensures our IT services are seamless and secure, delivering technology efficiently, effectively, and agilely, with a solid focus on user experience. Key Accountabilities
Transition Leadership:
- Lead the migration of our conferencing and collaboration products from Cisco to Microsoft Teams.
- Manage the roadmap for software, hardware, and infrastructure updates.
Standards Development:
- Develop and publish global IT conferencing standards.
- Ensure meeting room designs are up-to-date with industry developments.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Collaborate across the organization to align standards with business needs while following IT security and sustainability practices.
Data and Funding Models:
- Develop data models to forecast future funding requirements.
- Support financial forecasting for assets and lifecycle management.
Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of project managers for the transition program over the next three years.
- Implement engagement models and define clear roles and accountabilities.
Essential Skills and Experience
Technical Expertise:
- Detailed knowledge of video conferencing or collaboration technologies within a multinational company or service provider.
- Experience in transitioning conferencing platforms, preferably from Cisco to Microsoft Teams.
Relationship Management:
- Demonstrable ability to develop and manage relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
Communication Skills:
- Superb communication, facilitation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Effective senior leadership communication and expectation management.
Service Development:
- Experience running developments and improvements for globally consumed services with multiple demand channels.
- Financial acumen for managing an end-to-end IT service.
Analytical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis and presentation.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Leadership Experience:
- Previous leadership roles within AstraZeneca IT services or a related business area.
Team Collaboration:
- Ability to work effectively in diverse, multinational teams.
- Demonstrable ability to influence others to achieve positive outcomes.

- Experience in managing critical issues effectively.
