About the  Team

Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) are a global team that are accountable for many of the IT tools and services that directly contribute to the effectiveness of our AstraZeneca colleagues.

We partner locally in more than 60 global business sites for service delivery and IT experience and are accountable for all infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT operations and End User services and technologies.

ETS also manages many of the large IT contracts at AZ, as well as partnering with large organisations on behalf of AZ to deliver value and innovation through new and existing capabilities and services.

Job Description

The Data Visualizations will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of AstraZeneca Information Services solutions. This will involve all aspects of Dashboardplanning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and may involve working closely with third party suppliers. The role will also be involved in providing Data Analysis, Dashboard creation orimprovements, supervising the performance and provide alerting and visualizations for the alreadydeployed solutionsThe VisualizationsEngineer will adhere to the established AstraZeneca lifecycle methodology and practices and will be familiar with applications/infrastructure that their solutions will impact

Responsabilities

  • Provides technical expertise to project teams working on the Dashboarddevelopment, implementation, maintenance, and visualizationimprovement of Information Services solutions.

  • Provides input into business cases, Request for Proposals, supplier selection and evaluation of proposals.

  • Works with project teams to ensure effective interoperability of data gathering, data visualizations, Data Analysis, and dashboard creation,assures alignment of solution designs with AstraZeneca standards, policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

  • Reviews impact assessments and delivery from internal or third-party teamsReports high-level risks to management

  • Works with Business Analysts to draw out, understand and validate business and functional requirements needed to ensure required service effects.

  • Assists Senior IT Infrastructure Engineers in defining business solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategies and priorities, as well as the target benefits, value expected and established AstraZeneca standards and security policies.

  • Identifies new hardware/software technologies to fit specialised business needs and configurations

  • Develops and configures solutions as required from conceptualisation through to stabilisation using various computer platforms.

  • Conducts performance analysis and documents solution components.

  • Implements test plans for solutions developed in-house (including functionality, integrity, and stress testing; test matrices; and definition of test methodologies and strategy)

  • Create /ImplementsDashboardsolutions by analysing current procedures to ensure successful installation of systems hardware/software.

  • Ensures maintenance and support activities are performed, as well as routine analysis and evaluation on resource requirements necessary to maintain and/or expand service levels.

  • Through Innovative infrastructure solutions and process change programmes drive higher levels of service and customer experience

Requirements

  • 3 Yoe Dashboarding tools
    Experience with data extraction methods ETL’s. 

    T-SQL, PL-SQL, and any scripting Language 
    Phyton, Java script, PowerShell, R  

  • Data gathering from different sorces; analisys, cleaning and dashboarding 
    Dashboarding in our main tools Splunk, Tanium and Aternity 

  • Good communication skills supporting joint working with geographically remote colleagues. 

    Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and in alignment with AZ business. 

    business process requirements. 

    Proven track record of designing, engineering, and supporting enterprise management and monitoring tooling. 

    Must demonstrate the capability to identify and propose innovative solutions to improve service performance, by implementing data analysis and crafting accurate visualizations and dashboards. 

Desirable

  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of the external market. 
    Demonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and cross-cultural working.

    Ability to perform visualizations in Splunk or any Splunk understanding
