Senior Finance Manager, CVRM Finance

This role entails finance business partnering activities for the sales and marketing teams within the US CVRM therapeutic area. The position supports multiple Executive Business Directors who lead these teams. Responsibilities include performance reporting, analytics, and comprehensive financial management of expense budgets and actual results. Additionally, this role involves managing gross-to-net financials for two brands, encompassing forecasting, establishing accruals, assessing deal financials, and performing variance analysis.

Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing in depth financial analysis of expense and gross-to-netbudgets (MTP/RBU), forecasts and actual results for review by commercial customers.

  • Serves as the key Finance business partner to multiple members of the CVRM Leadership Team and their teamsfor investment supporting the TA assets.  

  • Liaises with the Access and Contract Strategy teams in the development of financials to support contracts with payers, ensuring resulting liabilities are properly forecasted and accrued.

  • Responsible for accounting, forecasting and related financial analysis for managed market rebate and discount obligations and affordability programs. 

  • Provides strategic insights and financial advice on related key business decisions.

  • Drives cost consciousness with business customers and leads efforts to identify and drive cost savings.

  • Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities to planning and reporting processes.

  • Ensures adherence to all SOX 404, as well as, local financial control framework controls.

  • Performs ad-hoc reporting requirements and financial analysis.

  • Liaises with Global Finance Services team in Costa Rica in support of achieving these business priorities.

Minimum Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Finance or Accounting

  • 8+ years of financial experience, pharmaceutical industry experience preferred

Skills and Competencies

  • Knowledge of US operating model

  • Excellent PC skills and experience including Hyperion Planning, SAP, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical ability and financial system acumen

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including oral and written

  • Confidence in working with and courage to challenge senior management 

  • High degree of accuracy with attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to perform in an environment that emphasizes teamwork to meet deliverables

  • Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage multiple and frequently changing priorities

  • Demonstrated capability to meet strict deadlines with a high level of ownership and strong sense of urgency

Preferred Background

  • Experience of working in a global organization, preferably within the pharmaceuticals industry 

  • Previousbusiness partnering experience
