Director, Marketing - COPD
This is a key role within one of BBU’s top launches and a contributor to our 2030 ambition. You will be accountable forleading the developing anddelivering critical components of the US brand strategy in partnership with thecross functional(XF) team—translating strategy intohigh-qualityprelaunch and launch execution.This role requires anoutcomes focusedleader, ideally withpreviouspeopleleadership experience,who can motivatecross functionalpartners, guide country teams, and exercise evaluative judgment in complex, ambiguous situations.You have a passion for campaign marketing, an eye for detailed planning, and the ability to assess multiple angles to develop pragmatic solutions. Your initiatives are rooted in robust market research and a sharp understanding of the external environment.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
As the Director, Marketing - COPDyou will be accountable for:
Brand PlanDevelopment &Implementation: Lead thedevelopmentandimplementation of the US pre‑launchand promotional activity plan, ensuring quality, compliance, and measurable impact.
LeadUS InitiativeRoll‑outPlans:Leadtheroll‑outof US initiatives, projects, and engagement plans (e.g.,campaigns,brand forums, congressstrategyand presence), with a focus onT8markets and scalable toolkits.
Market Partnership and Execution: Engage closely with local marketing teams to ensure flawless, aligned execution of the promotional plan; collect and synthesize market feedback to refine guidance.
Strategy Input andGSP: Provide promotional input to the US strategy, including positioning, messaging, and priority initiative recommendations.
External Engagement and Advocacy: Engage with KEEs and other priority stakeholders to gather input that informs the promotional strategy and activity plan, supporting advocacy development andevidence ledstorytelling.
Omnichannel and C360 Enablement: Support segmentation, journey mapping, and content operations in C360; track channel performance and drive continuous optimization of HCP and patient engagement.
AI EnabledWays of Working: Champion responsible use of AI to enhance content creation, tagging, and analytics; document learnings and best practices for scale.
Agency and Budget Operations: Manageday todayagency briefs, timelines, and deliverables; support PO creation, budget tracking, and investment reporting.
Performance Tracking:Maintaindashboards, KPIs, and leading indicators; contribute to business reviews and implement course corrections on owned initiatives.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor’sdegree isrequiredwithbusiness degree orscientificexpertiseas preferred
Experience:
Strongin marketexperience launching biologics, preferably in respiratory; specialty care experiencerequired.‑marketexperience launching biologics, preferably in respiratory; specialty care experiencerequired.
Demonstrated experience leading marketing campaign implementation in a global role or a significant global market.
In-depthunderstanding of commercial strategy, methodologies, and tools, including product profiling and positioning, forecasting inputs, pricing and reimbursement, market research techniques, and competitive intelligence.
Proven experience engaging external customers (e.g., KEEs, prescribers, payers) and translating insights into actionable plans.
Special Skills/Abilities:
Strong planning and project management, with the ability to manage complex,multi‑stakeholderinitiatives and deliver at pace.
Demonstrated ability to lead without authority and influence across functions and geographies.
Ability to gauge feasibility, impact, and risk of proposed programs;data drivendecision-making.
Strong leadership and influencing skills to ensure commercial focusinglobal projects.
Demonstrated ability to bring ideas to action and deliver measurable outcomes.
Robust analytical, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
Proven collaborator whooperateswell amid ambiguity, simplifies complexity, and manages multiple priorities.
Total Rewards:
The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $193,898 to $290,847. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
