Associate Director, Market Access Insights

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of Market Access? As the Associate Director of Market Access Insights, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our customer-facing teams by compiling and evaluating performance metrics and market analysis. Your input will guide the planning and implementation of brand strategies, serving as a key connection between different segments and departments. Collaborate closely with the Director of Market Access Insights to address data strategic analytic inquiries needs, identify outcomes, and advocate improvements to our insights and tools. Accountabilities:

In this role, you'll focus on supporting Market Access Account Teams within their AZ Portfolio assignments. You'll ensure effective collaboration with assigned teams, Brand Access Strategy, IT, and other key partners. Establish and maintain multiple-brand Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and related performance updates. Engage actively in automation initiatives to transition reporting tools from Excel to Power BI, supplying to digital and AI transformation efforts. Your work will support new product launches and indications, like TAGRISSO and Baxdrostat, and build processes for new product launch initiatives.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Preferred candidate will ideally bring excellence in Market Access brand engagement, particularly with account teams.

  • Demonstrate the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative insights from a variety of sources including Account Directors, market research, and online intelligence.

  • Transform information into actionable stories that connect Account Team performance to Brand and Access Strategy objectives.

  • Proficiency with analytics and analytical tools such as Power BI (PBI) and presentation development and execution.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical or related healthcare business.

  • Advanced degree in related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Analytics or Insights, Project Management, Market Access.

  • Ability to understand technical data architecture.

  • Experience with secondary pharmaceutical data, statistical analysis, and the techniques and application of primary market research.

  • Advanced skills in automation, tool development in PBI and Excel and familiarity with AI regarded as a plus.
