S/4HANA IT Product Expert – SAP & Coupa

Location: Warsaw

Hybrid Model: 3 days per week from office

Are you ready to leverage technology to deliver smarter procurement solutions that ultimately help save lives? We are seeking an experienced S/4HANA IT Product Expert  SAP & Coupa Integrations to join our IT organization at AstraZeneca. This key role will be instrumental in defining and delivering the global S/4HANA template and its integration with Coupa in alignment with AstraZeneca’s “fit-to-standard” vision and best practice principles.

You will be part of a global SAP S/4HANA design team, shaping the end-to-end IT and data architecture that supports standardized business processes across Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Supplier Collaboration.

Accountabilities:

As an IT Product Expert focusing on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Supplier Collaboration, you will:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and integration of Coupa and SAP S/4HANA solutions supporting Global Procurement and Accounts Payable processes.
  • Define and document the global standard solution for P2P processes, ensuring alignment between business process definitions, SAP solution design, and Coupa integrations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to deliver seamless integration between Coupa, S/4HANA, and related systems (e.g., supplier network, AP automation, and reporting tools).
  • Ensure that Coupa and SAP integration scenarios (including master data synchronization, purchase order/invoice flow, and approvals) are effectively designed, tested, and validated.
  • Create detailed solution and test documentation aligned with AstraZeneca’s quality and compliance standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and simplification across P2P and finance integration landscapes.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Accounts Payable design and implementation for complex, global organizations.
  • Hands-on expertise with Coupa P2P (Procure-to-Pay), including configuration, administration, and integration with SAP back-end systems.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Coupa–S/4HANA integrations using standard connectors or middleware (e.g., SAP CPI, MuleSoft, or API-based integration frameworks).
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end P2P business processes, including requisitioning, purchase orders, supplier collaboration, invoicing, and payments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across IT and business teams.
  • Ability to work in a global, matrixed environment, balancing priorities across time zones and business areas.
  • Self-motivated, agile, and capable of working independently in an evolving landscape.
  • Confident in challenging the status quo and facilitating collaboration to deliver practical, value-driven solutions.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Certification in SAP S/4HANA  Sourcing & Procurement or Coupa Platform Administration/Integration.
  • Experience in global P2P transformations and multi-system landscapes.
  • Knowledge of related non-SAP applications such as Workday, Concur, or supplier management platforms.
  • Experience working with hybrid delivery models (internal teams and external partners across multiple regions).
