2025 Working in Science Internship Program at AstraZeneca (July – September)

The Internship Program at AstraZeneca is aimed at graduates and students of the last years of universities who want to use the knowledge gained during their studies in practice. This is an opportunity to raise your professional qualifications in one of the most innovative global biotechnology companies.

The program is dedicated to people who didn’t participate in previous editions.

The Knowledge Management Team is responsible for creating impactful learning, communications, engagement campaigns and policies for the Ethics and Compliance area of Global Sustainability.
We work in a global team collaborating with colleagues across the business to ensure we successfully promote a strong culture of Ethics in everything we do at AstraZeneca.
We use a variety of systems, software packages, creative and innovative techniques to achieve our goals.

We are looking for an intern to join our team and support us as a project assistant in the run up to our Global Ethics Day events. The role will be diverse, and candidates will not only provide logistical support but will get to input their ideas and create materials and communications of their own.

Required skills:

• Candidates will be working in a global role and therefore will need to be fluent in written and spoken English.
• They will have an aptitude for picking up new technology, and be proficient in MS Office products (particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
• The successful applicant will be a strong communicator with the ability to independently their own workload in a fast paced, dynamic environment.​
• An interest in or experience of teaching/adult learning, communications or design (graphic design, video editing, content creation) would be desirable as would a general interest in Sustainability, Ethics and making a positive difference.

Posting is closing 31st of March 2025. All submitted applications will be verified by us and assessed based on the objective criteria. Selected candidates will receive an invitation to introduce and present themselves using HireVue - a tool that allows to send answers to recruitment questions in the form of video recordings. On the final stage of the process, you will remotely meet the recruiting team consisting of representatives of a given department. At the end of April, we will announce a list of people for whom this year's internship program recruitment process was successful.

The internships will start in July and last from 3 months.

We work in a hybrid scheme, be prepared to work partially office based.
