The Internship Program at AstraZeneca is aimed at graduates and students of the last years of universities who want to use the knowledge gained during their studies in practice. Responsibilities:
Join AstraZeneca’s Procurement Insights Team as an intern. This pivotal unit empowers procurement experts with strategic insights and market intelligence, focusing on managing and optimizing procurement data to ensure the function delivers maximum value. As an intern, you will contribute by channeling insights and enhancing data management practices within the procurement landscape. In this role, you will support in gathering and analyzing market intelligence to inform procurement strategies. You will assist in developing insightful presentations that transform procurement data into strategic actions and collaborate with team members to enhance data quality and integrity within procurement systems. Additionally, you will engage in data storytelling and digital communication activities to drive procurement insights, exploring innovative approaches to data management for streamlining procurement functions.
Requirements:
Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in fields such as Supply Chain, Data Analytics, International Business, Business Intelligence, or related areas. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in coursework, projects, or other academic activities. A creative and curious mindset with enthusiasm for solving complex problems is essential, along with strong analytical skills, a digital mindset, and a passion for innovation. Excellent English communication skills are required to engage effectively with a global team.
All interns will:
• Undergo role-specific training and will be mentored by highly experienced professionals.
• Learn about AstraZeneca and a global pharmaceutical company work environment.
• Undertake real work, proactively collaborating with our experienced staff.
At the end of your internship you will receive a certificate and feedback from the team; many of our interns are successful applicants for permanent roles within our global clinical research centre!
Posting is closing 31st of March 2025. All submitted applications will be verified by us and assessed based on the objective criteria. Selected candidates will receive an invitation to introduce and present themselves using HireVue - a tool that allows to send answers to recruitment questions in the form of video recordings. On the final stage of the process, you will remotely meet the recruiting team consisting of representatives of a given department. At the end of April, we will announce a list of people for whom this year's internship program recruitment process was successful.
The internships will start in July and lasts 3 months.
We work in a hybrid scheme, be prepared to work partially office based.
