We seek a Field Force Trainer who implements tactics for field force effectiveness processes. The person will adapt and deliver coaching and training programs for sales teams. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive skills gap analyses, preparing tailored training, and consecutive learning with post-hoc evaluation.

Ultimately, this role will help increase the overall performance of our sales teams and ensure they have the skills to deliver current goals and be prepared to achieve future ones.

Specific areas of responsibility:

  • Coordinate training across field force functional teams.
  • Co-ordinate external vendors where appropriate to deliver necessary training
  • Have a deep understanding of the needs of the business and the skills and capabilities required in roles.
  • Localize available regional/global training programs and tools for PL needs
  • Report training’s progress, attendance, and fulfillment rate
  • Review training materials, ensure they are relevant, and track compliance and certification requirements where appropriate.
  • Support and work closely with the Capabilities Lead in executing capabilities strategy and in key initiatives and opportunities to accelerate field force performance and capabilities as well as cooperate with other field force trainer(s)
  • Participate in regional and local projects relevant to workforce development
  • Gather feedback and training needs from NSMs and ASMs through interviews and surveys.


Minimum Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent
  • English (communicative)
  • Proven experience in training coordination (min 3 years)
  • Knowledge of specific tools and sales tactics, increasing effectiveness
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively
  • Proven ability to prioritize work, multitask and be flexible
  • Ability to work to tight timelines and manage priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills and the ability to build effective partnerships with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Pharmaceutical experience, specifically in hospital products (will be an asset)
