Compliance Assurance Partner (12 month secondment/fixed term)
Location: Warsaw - hybrid work (3days from the office per week)
This is what you will do:
The Compliance Assurance Partner (AP) will make a difference for the company and its internal and external stakeholders by helping to assure that business is conducted with integrity. The AP will have the opportunity to learn new facets of the business, interact with business leaders, and apply analytical and qualitative skills to role that regularly offers new challenges and opportunities.
The AP will report to an Assurance Lead of the Compliance function. The AP will collaborate closely with APs from across AstraZeneca, the Global Compliance Investigations (GCI) team, the AZ Ethics & Compliance team, and with the business to identify risk, monitor business activities, and conduct investigations across EUCAN markets. The AP will remediate and mitigate risk and proactively improve business activities through meaningful partnerships and advice.
You will be responsible for:
Collaborating within Assurance to implement and maintain an effective compliance program (including support for monitoring, auditing, investigations, assurance reporting etc.) in EUCAN markets based on the global & regional Assurance plan.
Providing insights derived from monitoring plans to the Ethics & Compliance team, Assurance colleagues, business leaders, and others as appropriate.
Collaborating with the AZ Ethics & Compliance team, Assurance colleagues, business leaders, and others as appropriate to create appropriate mitigation/remediation plans or process changes based on the findings of risk assessments and monitoring.
Recording compliance investigations and incidents (including monitoring and self-reported cases) in AZEthics.
Working with the business, HR, Legal, and AZ Ethics & Compliance on remediations, including advising on underlying facts and root cause(s) of any substantiated violation(s) to help evaluate and effect appropriate individual corrective actions and process changes.
Partnering across the Global Assurance team on strategic projects.
Supporting and embedding a culture of ethics and integrity.
Maintaining professional & effective collaboration with Compliance Business Partners.
Performing other duties as necessary.

Experience in pharmaceuticals or a related industry
Knowledge and experience of corporate governance, health care regulations, laws and standards
Ability to conduct monitoring and investigations in additional languages (fluency or near fluency).
Experience interacting cross-culturally.
