Clinical Supply Planning, Associate Director
Introduction to Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Supply Planning Associate Director to join our team. In this role, you will be a part of the Clinical Supply Planning organization, responsible for leading, developing, and guiding a team of Clinical Supply Chain Planners. Your focus will be on ensuring effective pro-ramme level planning and inventory management across the team's portfolio. You will work closely with the team and other managers in CM&S to develop efficient processes and ways of working to support the delivery of clinical supplies while upholding global supply chain best practices.
Accountabilities:
As a Clinical Supply Planning Associate Director, your responsibilities will include coaching and supporting the team to develop their individual capabilities. You will be responsible for both the daily deliveries from the team to the supply chains and the long-term development of team capabilities. You will guide the team in proactive risk identification, solution-building, and issue resolution to facilitate the achievement of objectives on time and to appropriate quality. You will ensure training in, adherence to, and continuous improvement of supply chain business processes to improve efficiency, flexibility, and productivity within the team and CM&S more broadly. You will manage resources within the team and ensure SHE/GMP standards are upheld.
Essential Skills/Experience:
• Experience in a supply chain planning environment
• Degree, preferably in a supply chain related subject or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of drug development and the current operating model for clinical supply
Desirable Skills/Experience:
• Business acumen and ability to work effectively across multiple SET areas
• Proven leadership capabilities
• Good influencing, negotiating, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability to set and manage priorities, resources, and performance targets
