Role: Career 2.0 - Associate Procurement Manager (HR Categories) Join our Global Source to Contract Excellence (GSCE) team in Poland and pivot your expertise into Procurement. If you excel at negotiation, stakeholder management, project delivery, and turning data into decisions, this is a structured path to apply your experience at enterprise scale. You will work on global HR categories with a strong technology component (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Temporary Resources, Benefits, Learning Technology), shaping sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships to deliver lasting value. The role focuses on Global/EMEA HR categories with high IT/technology elements, partnering closely with Global and Regional Category Teams.

Skills over titles: We’re looking for strong skills, similar or adjacent experience, and proven business acumen—not an identical role history. If you have led complex processes, influenced commercial outcomes, and delivered results in comparable environments, we encourage you to apply.

What you will do: Manage day-to-day sourcing and contracting, run structured evaluations, coordinate cross-functional input, and drive decisions to contract signature—supporting Global Procurement and the business to deliver broader value and enable discovery of innovative medicines.

Essential experience:

  • Significant professional experience (typically 15+ years)

  • Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management

  • Endtoend process delivery: scoping, planning, structured comparisons/evaluations, crossfunctional coordination, decision and contract execution

  • Strong negotiation and influencing with suppliers/partners or enterprise customers, including commercial terms, SLAs, and risk

  • Experience drafting/reviewing/negotiating commercial agreements; clear understanding of contract lifecycle and commercial levers

  • Project and time management; ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams

  • Analytical and financial acumen: benchmarking, proposal comparison, pricing model interpretation, concise qualitative/quantitative summaries

  • Excellent English (min. C1); Polish not required

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Positive, proactive, cando approach

Desirable:

  • Experience in HR or IT/SaaS commercial roles (enterprise sales, customer success, partner/channel, commercial operations) or consulting focused on HR/IT

  • Background in complex, matrix, global organisations and/or highly regulated industries

  • Regional market insight (inmarket/regional experience)

  • Additional languages (min. B2): French, German, Italian and/or Spanish
