We are looking for a strong communicator for the position of
Sales Manager – CVRM (CardioVascular, Renal, and Metabolic Disease)
The ideal candidate:
Is an assertive personality with strong leadership skills and sees this position as the first step in their further career at AstraZeneca.

Possesses strong coaching abilities and can build a highly effective and motivated sales team with positive team dynamics.
Deals constructively with performance challenges by proactively seeking solutions in collaboration with team members and regularly reviewing progress on agreed actions.
Can manage the implementation of the strategy and the associated activities while prioritizing execution per customer group, aiming for performance enhancement or optimization.
Ensures the sales team can translate scientific insights about the offered products into emotional and patient-centered sales conversations.
Has excellent analytical thinking skills to assess market conditions, trends, and results, including competitive analysis, and see opportunities.
Has extensive experience in planning and implementing cross-functional Key Account plans and plays a central role in fostering close exchanges between marketing, medical, market access, and the sales team.
Seeks ways to improve the benefits of digitalization for enhancing customer engagement.
Lives and promotes open, honest, trusting, transparent, and respectful communication to create a positive, motivating work culture.
Has experience in creating individual development plans to support talent development within their team.
Essential Requirements:
A completed degree or equivalent experience in an economic or scientific field.
Several years of leadership experience (at least 4 years) in managing sales teams in the pharmaceutical industry with proven successes, ideally with experience in product launches in a competitive environment.
Excellent mentoring, coaching, and team leadership skills.
Outstanding account management, data analysis, customer segmentation, and relationship-building competencies.
Very strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex topics in a simple and understandable way.
Prior knowledge in cardiology and/or diabetology and/or nephrology is preferred; experience in a hospital or specialty setting is especially desired.
High willingness to travel.
